The royal family of Maharana Pratap of Mewar still lives in the half of the portion of the City Palace and half of it is a heritage museum that is near the Lake Pichola. The serenity of Lakes and boat rides sets up the perfect romantic ambience in the evenings for tourists. The city has many budgeted, luxury, and heritage hotels for the stay and have the royal feeling that one wants to according to their budget, along with this one can always indulge into culture and art fairs and festivals, that takes place every now and then in the city.
